Who we are
Bottega Ventures Lda is the operator of this platform. We connect business owners in Italy and Portugal with qualified buyers. Our registered address and contact details are available on request at privacy@bottegaventures.com.
What we collect
For sellers: business name (optional), country, region, sector, year founded, email address, phone number, and business description. For buyers: name, email address, phone number (optional), and enquiry message. We also collect basic usage data (page views, browser type) via analytics.
How we use your information
Seller information is used to create and publish your listing on Bottega and to contact you about your listing. Buyer information is used to route your enquiry to the relevant seller and to follow up on your behalf. We do not use your information for advertising or sell it to third parties.
Who we share it with
Seller contact details and sensitive information are shared only with buyers who have signed a confidentiality agreement. Buyer enquiry information (name, email, message) is shared with the relevant seller. We use Supabase (EU-hosted) for data storage and may use Resend for transactional email.
Data retention
Listing data is retained for as long as your listing is active, plus 12 months after withdrawal. Enquiry data is retained for 24 months. You may request deletion at any time by emailing privacy@bottegaventures.com.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may also object to processing or request a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@bottegaventures.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
Cookies
We use session cookies required for the platform to function. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. Analytics data is aggregated and not linked to individual users.
